Manchester

I was nicely sleeping, got up just a little bit earlier today because I was supposed to be on standby as early as 6am in the freaking morning. Mana lah tahu, after mandi, checked my roster online, found out that I was put on Manchester flight. Wah liu... 3x Manchesters this month. Something must be not so right. I don't usually do Manchester flights!

Oh well... suck up to it only la. It's not too long anyway. Per sector is about the same flight time as AUH-KUL. So it's pretty ok... just that the stay could be slightly longer.

Am in Manchester now. Loving the weather. Thought of heading to the steam room for a nice body self-help spa treatment. But was too lazy. The flight today was busy. Full in business class. I was the galley operator. Had to train an untrained IS crew for the service. But it went pretty smoothly.

About to hit the sack for my beauty sleep now. Need to rejuvenate for tomorrow's full flight again. And it started raining here! Weeee.... I missed the rain. I miss it back at home when it rains. It never (hardly ever) rains in Abu Dhabi. Perhaps like 3 times this year already, like after 7 months! Hahaha...

Patience

Patience. It was something I so needed these past few days.

I have never been a person of patience. Never. Ever since young, people tolerated me, people gave in to me, people tried not to make me mad, etc.

But ever since a year plus ago, I have developed this amazingly huge amount of patience that I myself was surprised I can actually have.

Love... it does wonders. But sometimes, how much can one tolerate?

I hope I don't explode before I do.

I need courage to make myself stand up again, and be the hard-headed person I once was.

Ok... so maybe not so hard-headed, but enough to gain respect or a teeny-weeny lil bit of fear from people close by.

I love you, I always will, I know things are tough now, but I know it will all be done with soon.

I miss the old times... when things were so much simpler...

What an eventful flight!

Well... it was a really eventful flight I had yesterday.

Offloading passenger who wasn't fit to fly. The kid had like some kinda pox on his face, and the whole family got so upset because the whole family will have to be offloaded with the kid.

What else? Offloading crew who came late for reporting. It's pretty strict now. Even 5mins late will cause offloading.

What else? Sorting out passengers who were upgraded to business class but who wanted to sit together (it's just weird don't you think? They got upgraded, but buat bising wanna sit together, ground staff kata if they wanna sit together then send them back to economy, then they can sit together, nak? Terus senyap! hahahaha)

What else? Kids who got upgraded to business class together with the family was asking for tons of funny things. You think this one toy store ar?

What else? Passenger quarrel because one of the passenger left a plastic tumbler in between their seats. The other pax said that this pax was destroying his serenity onboard. Hahaha...

What else? Pax insisting on having the lamb when we took order, but ended up not even eating it. Buang karan je... we have to search up and down to accommodate your choice, then in the end tak makan. Oh well, in this industry, the customer is always right!

What else? The classic. First time flyers, tak tau guna tandas. Lepas pee pee, please tekan the butang behind tu and flush off your waste. The bowl was created this big not to kumpul your hasil-hasil pembuangan from your system. Don't feel free to share it with anyone... eeeeeewwwww

What else? "Welcome onboard, may I have a look at your boarding pass please?" "Thank you, please proceed across and then to your right please". And which aisle do they take? The first one of course! And they say we never listen to them.

What else? Economy class pax sitting in business class seat, while walking down the aisle towards economy, saying that they are claustrophobic and they have long legs, and that they do not need any special service in business class and that they will not ask for anything and that they only wanna sleep. Yeah rite... no free upgrades mister! Next time, kalau sudah tahu claustrophobic tu, sila la beli ticket business class. Haha...

And all these happened in a short flight of 1hr50mins. Haha :) What an eventful day! Have a great day everyone!

I have always been nice.

I have never attempted to be mean to anyone.

But this time, I just have to laugh my ass off.

When it is all finally completed, finally revealed, finally realized, she will pray so hard to God, ask for so much of forgiveness from God, that she wished she had never done any of these sins, nor even planned to execute any of these acts.

You must know that, Heaven is not the only place to go when you are gone.

Attention seeker

Wow... this month I've been flying too much, seriously too much! Double Frankfurts when I got back from leave, and then a long flight to Sydney, in between these, a Doha and a Beirut flight on our smallest fleets (I think they are really cute aircrafts, like a bus flying in the air, hahaha... that's why lah they call it Airbus), and then another long flight to NYC in a few days time.

Hmmm... in this month itself I heard quite a number of interesting stories, some were quite shocking, some were pretty much predicted, some were funny... Sorry ar, I don't like to gossip, so I won't be sharing any stories here, but kalau to just listen to it, I ok aje... haha :)

Wing Wing asked me a rather interesting question the other day. "How do you handle a b*tch? More precisely, an attention seeker?"

Sometimes kan I think, these people, memang nothing better to do. It's like, dah makan, dah berak... hmmm nak buat apa lagi? Kacau orang laaa.. they will come up with some topics yg sungguh tak relevant, start a gossip, make people think that they know a lot, and then in the end you will have people despising other people, people avoiding other people, people misunderstanding other people, people starting another gossip about this other people, etc...

Apa macam bro? Tak boleh la like that... world peace mana?! Sometimes it's because of these people that a lot of people do not become friends anymore. Backstabbing ker... badmouthing ker... they are all the same. If this particular "attention seeker" nak sangat berkawan or nak sangat attention, seek la from somewhere else, like know your territories lah... not everyone is ever so willing to give you attention all the time. Don't try to seek too much of attention and in the end being bad labeled a slut tau? They go hand-in-hand.

But then again, what to do? Without these people, the world not that much fun already kan? Sometimes it's because of these people that we get information faster. Tapi gossip tu ada limit. Not everyone can handle it. Sekali, terlepas bomb besar... kakaka... habis la...

Ok la wing wing, I tatau if this solves anything, tapi maybe it might send messages across to some people or some other people as well. Don't know what I am blabbing about anymore. Nak do my nails now la... glossy red ker glossy pearl?
